GOD u guys look past the weirdness of it for heaven's sake...
i absolutely love this picture. im obsessed with it. there's something about it. the way her eyes are unsullied and shining but everything around her is gloomy and sinister. how u'd think she wud be in pain but she's looking straight at you, defiant. how ud think she shud be trying to get rid of the shackle around her neck or the metal rods stuck in her head, but she bears it...how if u imagined her smiling her eyes wud remain the same(try it, cover her mouth and nose and smile at her and i swear it wud look like she's smiling back). its like theres something going on in the back of her head that only she knows and she's challenging u to figure it out, and thats why she's not suffering even though she she shud be.
maybe i overanalyzed it, its just a picture, but - this is an incredible work of art. u just have to get past the eccentricty to appreciate it.
p.s. i don't know if this is how i feel, but i liked it so much that i had to post it here...and it kind of matched with my post.
oh and – isnt she beautiful?!!
